About Power of Women to Make a Difference Award Luncheon
Now in its 15th year, United Way of New York City’s Power of Women to Make a Difference Awards Luncheon honors the achievements of outstanding women leaders, whose professional accomplishments are matched by their commitment to philanthropy and giving back to their community.
The event attracts a diverse group of business and nonprofit leaders, celebrities and other notable guests from a variety of industries.
This year’s Luncheon will take place virtually on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 and will engage even more senior female executives than ever before through our interactive platform. Guests will be able to move in and out of rooms just like an in-person event, enjoy the program and network with one another in a live setting.
Net proceeds from our 2021 Luncheon will benefit two core components of ReadNYC: Books from Birth and Once Upon a Summer. these programs help children to read at grade level by third grade—a critical milestone in a child’s future success.
